Wildfires increase air pollution in surrounding areas and can affect regional air quality. The effects of smoke from wildfires can range from eye and respiratory tract irritation to more serious disorders, including reduced lung function, bronchitis, exacerbation of asthma and heart failure, and premature death.
One of the next things we wondered was; why are wildfires a bad thing?
, bad graphics, no door Gun sights is limited. I don’t think there is FPPI feel like pubg better ( never tried it tho)No recoil.
, and forest fire. , jpg Release seeds or otherwise encourage the growth of certain tree species, like lodgepole pines. Clear dead trees, leaves, and competing vegetation from the forest floor, so new plants can grow. Break down and return nutrients to the soil. Remove weak or disease-ridden trees, leaving more space and nutrients for stronger trees, and more items.
A common question we ran across in our research was “Why wildfires are bigger and harder to control?”.
One source stated They are a force of nature: imagine trying to stop a hurricane.
You have to consider there are NO limits to where the fire can or cannot spread as long as there is fuel. Unlike a structure, which has a defined shape and spaces between it and another structure, it takes a 360 degree containment to corral a wildland fireA large enough fire can ‘create its own weather’ by creating artificial wind, and more items.
Why are muck fires so dangerous?
The byproducts of muck fires are dangerous to nearby urban areas because they make breathing difficult, Hofstetter said. Because there is not enough oxygen in the fire, muck smoke tends to have more carbon monoxide — a poisonous gas — and unburned particles than normal brush fires, Hofstetter said.
The muck makes the wildfires even more dangerous because it is consisted of all kinds of things, materials. Lot of those materials are very flammable and have a big burning potential, can both start burning immediately, and burn long enough to spread the fire further, and make it bigger and much more dangerous.
What causes muck fires in the Everglades?
The muck fires are more likely to occur because of the 17-month drought and lowered water levels in the Everglades, Dempsey said. Most muck fires are caused by people, Hofstetter said.
Where are muck fires most likely to occur in Florida?
South Dade and Palm Beach counties are more likely to have muck fires this year than Broward County, which had many last year, Dempsey said. Because Broward County and northern Dade County had so many fires, there is less fuel for the fires that ignite muck, he said.
“They function sort of like a sponge in a general sense,” he said. But when the muck burns, it is more like a pile of ash than a sponge, Hofstetter said. So South Florida loses its water retention areas, he said.
