Disney confirmed on December 28 that Typhoon Lagoon is reopening on January 2, 2022! Typhoon Lagoon’s reopening follows Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, which reopened on March 7, 2021.
Is Typhoon Lagoon water park open?
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is now open. Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is closed for refurbishment at this time. Typhoon Lagoon is arguably the better of the two, and I know many would love to visit. Disney World recently filed some general construction permits for the address where Typhoon Lagoon is located. Disney could be getting the water park ready to go for when they welcome Guests back!
Complimentary standard parking is available for all Guests visiting Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park. If you plan to bring a cooler into the park, you will be asked to show the contents to a Cast Member who will inspect it for prohibited items.
